Taken at Cape Town's, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. I took a few more like it, but this one was the best of the lot. I would have stayed longer and played some more but security got a bit edgy with us and chased us away. Apparently you're not allowed to take photos of the Waterfront in some places...

Credit goes to =AmateurWeevil for first showing me the idea and the place in his shot of the same location.

:)

I was a little to the left, that DAMN floodlight that keeps going on and off kept messing up the shot

Good work on this one, I'd fiddle with the white balance as it seems a little colour caste with the yellow, interesting composition :)

Personally, I like the richness of the colours that the long exposures often give but I played with it a little and I see what you mean.

You going to come to the next devmeet I organise?

Definitely! I would have come to the first one but I didn't pay enough attention to my journal watch

Let me know when the next one happens, would be great to meet my fellow CPT deviants  :)
Not a problem. It'll probably be in 2 months time. I'll start organising now so that people can start scheduling, etc. Seems that is the only way to do it in Cape Town.

Keep in touch, man :)

I think the floodlight added a certain richness to the picture. It did to mine.

Nice one. Credit goes to =AmateurWeevil ? Then he should be passing that credit onto me and my idea... ;P - nah - just kidding. Guess I will have to submit my own shot from a similar position.

Timothy, this is you're best picture ever I think. The lights are awesome - I love the rays on the left ( it was that spotlight that came on and off??) This is excellent.
